The Federal army's Second Division chases back the advancing Biafrans that had captured Ore. They got to Asaba and after emptying the Central bank vaults in the place, the Federal troop goes through Asaba singling out supposedly Ibo supporters and army-age young men to shoot, not as a military exercise but just for the sadism of it all. Finally they invited all the men and boys of Asaba and machine gun them all to death in a Final Solution manner, and then, bury them in mass graves.
