A student working on his master's degree in archaeology is on a field assignment at G bekli Tepe, the oldest known archeological site on Earth. After working for several days he discovers a small black metallic box that appears to be a perfect cube. Since the people who inhabited G bekli Tepe did not have the knowledge that would have enabled them to make the box he is confused. It soon becomes obvious the artifact is of extraterrestrial origin, and during it's examination an opportunity for an astonishing adventure is created.
