Some solid recipes

Although there is a lot of now out-dated preamble in this book, there are some recipes that make it worth it. Notably, this book contains the recipe for their award-winning lentil walnut pate. The sandwich recipes and the warm grain bowl recipes are very good for elevated daily meals, and the section on making your own condiments is short but all bangers. The desserts are just okay, but could easily be jazzed up. The baked goods in general are not amazing, but the sweet potato biscuits are always a hit at pot lucks.
