In June of 1941 in Los Angeles, California, the body of a Greek Mythologist was found in the Central Public Library. Ezra Faraday lay dead in his research office. Struck by an idol of Artemis, goddess of the hunt. Her arrow piercing the back of his head. The crimes raises many questions for its unusual nature. Long time detective, Frank Harrison calls in private investigator, Axel Dollarhyde to the scene to see what his skills can uncover. Axel knows there is two sides to everyone's story, and to never take anything at face value. For in a crime with a hidden message, the real truth is sometimes buried in plain sight.
