The Art of Healing

Toxic relationships Many of us can say that we've had our fair share. But honestly, who is to blame for us getting into these situations? Is it the toxic person who never should have approached us in the first place. I mean after all, everybody needs love right? Was it our fault for being gullible and giving this person a chance? Is any one to blame at all because life is to be lived no matter what obstacles come your way. Yeah right Well in my most recent toxic relationship I blamed him If he wasn't ready for a commitment he shouldn't have come my way. I was minding my business selling books and here he comes out of no where selling pipe dreams (no pun intended). He hurt me to my soul. Broke my little heart into pieces. I didn't ask for those lies, I didn't ask to be deceived. And I surely didn't ask to be betrayed. To have my name slandered on Social Media. To have false accusations brought against me I didn't ask for any of it, yet I received that and then some. All while dealing with postpartum depression, postpartum hair loss, excessive bleeding, you name it. And it was all his fault. I did absolutely nothing to deserve that. Or did I? What was it about me that made this person attractive to me to begin with? What role did I play in getting played for so long? Was there something that I missed? Where were the red flags? These were all questions that I had to ask myself because this thing had begun to take a toll on me. I decided that I wanted to be healed from the heartache that I had endured. And if I was to properly heal, I'd have to accept accountability for the role that I played in this mess. I'd have to woman up and ask myself those hard questions to allow God to start the healing process. In this novel, we'll discuss The Art of Healing, Relationship Goals, what to do Before You Say I Do and so much more more. Most importantly my hope is that you'll leave with the understanding of even when we step out of God's will, his Grace is sufficient enough to bring us right back and restore all that was lost. God really does Heal the Broken in Heart.
