On the following pages you'll find the product of at least a decade of writing projects that I started and completed while at work. Unfortunately, I didn't have a novel inside me screaming to be written at the time, but I was able to crank out some short pieces I found fun to write. 'Was it hard to do'?, you ask? As much as you might think I had goof off like this clandestinely; hiding what I was doing, making excuses for writing something totally unrelated to the industry, but no. I found looking just busy enough at all times was not only easy but it kept the boss happy when he or she walked by. It kept the boss and, by extension, the company happy, and it made the day go by much faster. Lest I forget the cherry on the top of it was the finished product. Your art.
