Gay Cooking? I'm in!

I initially found this book at the library where the title caught my eye, and read it over the course of a few weeks in between work. The memoir portions blend well with the recipes, where they're presented in an easy to read manner. Not many of these recipes are for the beginner chef, but there's some gems that I simply can't resist trying once my skills improve. Isengart gives us a look into the New York high-life he got to see behind the scenes of in the 80s through early 2000s (as roughly as I can guess), as well as his life with his partner who, to be honest, seems a very inspired man. Cooking memoirs are my weakness, and this will be a fine addition to my shelf. If you only look at one portion in the book, look at the recipes from his friends.
