Part III, comprising more than half the book, is concerned with the many individual art activities that can be taught in high school, supplying specific information on media and techniques in each field. There are extensive discussions of the contribution of each subject to the education of adolescents, and of the role of art history and art appreciation in fusing studio experiences with student responses to great art.
