The Art and Craft of Woodturning is a photo album of Gerald Kornelsen's work. He is a hobby woodturner who, like most turners, started out doing "round and brown". Now his interest lies in exploring different shapes and finishing techniques. This book contains over a hundred coloured photographs representing about 170 pieces of his work: small to large, brown to blue, smooth to textured, practical to merely ornamental. This is not a how-to-book, but rather a "what I did". Many of the pictures are labelled with the species of wood and the processes Gerald used.
