Russell W Porter of Stellafane

OK, I am biased as I am a member of Stellafane and a arctic explorer, but this book is worth the money just for Porter's drawing in it. If you choose to read it and not just enjoy his artwork, you will appreciate how travel and communications have changed in a century, but if you are an explorer, you will be saddened by how small the world is now and little is left of it to explore.
