Perfect Bible for New Christians!

This Bible is simple, written in plain easy to understand text. It follows the King James version so in my opinion a very readable concise version of the Bible.

It truly is the Answer.

I recommend this translation for everyone. It's easy to read and the other writings are worth it.

Easy to read

This is the Bible in an easy to read version. It also contains pages of comments by Christian writers, pastors and teachers like Billy Graham, Norman Vincent Peale, Catherine Marshall, etc. I had another copy of this book and I read it so much that the pages started coming out. I was glad to find another one here. If you have trouble reading the Bible King James version, you will find this one a lot easier to read. It is a soft cover book.

This is The Holy Bible to have! Easy to read! Easy to understand! No need to fuss with translating scriptures. I have ordered this bible for 3 other family members! MUST HAVE!

GOOD UNDERSTANDING AND STUDY BIBLE.

I recommand this book for everyone. It does not matter whether you know the WORD or not. It is a good bible to study with and to help others understand God's word. This bible has writings in it by others that will bless you in your time of need.

One of the best translations I have found

This is one of the best translations fo the Bible that I have found. It is written in a manner in which the information is easily understood using today's language as a starting point. The content has not been alterned, only stated in a clearer manner.Interspaced in the text are essays written by various authors. These essays make the Word, even more relevent to our lives today. I have had a copy of this translation for years, and recently bought a second copy for my 11 year old daughter. She had other "Easy read" translations, however, prefers this one - her quote "Momma, this makes sense." Isn't that the way it is supposed to be?

Excellent For A Begining Christian

This "New Century Version" of the Bible has been a wonderful studing guide in our household. I would highly recommend this book for every Christian, no matter what your christian maturity may be. The vocabulary and content used is extremely easy to follow, understand and apply to life as it is today. My husband and I have used this bible on many occassion to better explain many verses to our christian friends who are still learning to take their first steps with Christ. I have compared this to my Ryrie Study Bible, and the translation is very close; however, it is written in a more easy to understand language. I have enjoyed the wonderful inserts by the various writters and I am very discouraged that the book is out of print.
