The Angel's Baking Lesson

By Cecile Ngbanda

What happens when you ignore the recipe -- and end up in heaven?

Carl and Gina have a plan: bake the perfect birthday cake for Dad. But when they skip Mom's recipe and add way too much baking powder, the kitchen turns into chaos -- and something truly unexpected happens. An angel appears, and these two siblings suddenly catch a glimpse of something far bigger than a birthday cake.

The Angel's Baking Lesson is a whimsical, faith-filled story that turns a relatable family moment into a magical encounter with God's love. Through a little mess and a lot of wonder, Carl and Gina learn that obedience isn't about rules -- it's about trust.

Includes built-in conversation starters for families, Sunday schools, and faith-based classrooms. Pairs beautifully with a real baking activity -- try it together after reading

Ages 5-9 Perfect for family devotionals, VBS, and Sunday school libraries.
