The Angel & The Outlaw by Madeline Baker

I hadn't read anything by Madeline in quite awhile, I was not surprised that I couldn't put the book down. I just had not been doing much reading as of lately. Well picking up Madeline's The Angel & The Outlaw has put me into a reading marathon again. *S* Madeline is one of my favorite authors of Historical Romance Indian stories, along with Roseanne Bittner's Arizona Bride many novels. This was only the second 'time travel' book I had read, at first I was skeptical, but oh it was just as exciting as all of her books. I have been hooked on Madeline's books since 'Reckless Heart'. I have bought Madeline's books for gifts many times. If you have not read this book, I highly recommend The Angel & the Outlaw (Leisure Historical Romance).

I Loved This Book!

I have to say that I love dark heroes and J.T. Cutter is one of the best. He aslo has a vunerable side that makes you feel and cry for him. I also enjoyed the banter he and Brandy have throughout the novel. I couldn't put the book down and the writing style and characters has got me hooked on Baker's novels. I went out and bought some more. I used to not buy western style romances, but this novel changed my mind.

A Wonderful Book!

I loved the book so much. I cried, I laughed. The ending is the best. Madaline Baker is Queen of Indian Romance books. I loved The Angel & The Outlaw.

Wonderful, fantastic!! A MUST READ!!!!

I love outlaw heros, I mean true outlaw's, none of this revenge themes or undercover cops. I want a true outlaw who doesn't mind stealing for his own gain. J.T. Cutter is that sort of outlaw, he's a card sharp and when the cards aren't going his way he cheats. He doesn't mind stealing either, which eventually gets him hung. Heaven doesn't consider him Heaven material(I wonder why) but they do consider him redemable. Of course a leopard doesn't change his spots over night. Kidnapping a woman, stealing a horse, and attempting to cheat on his first card game since getting his repreve isn't the best of starts. He starts changing gradually, of course with some presuasion from his "gaurdian angel." Buy this book right now, I guarentee you won't be able to put it down!!

captivating and romantic

THE ANGEL AND THE OUTLAW this was my first historical romance and now i'm hooked. i loved this book. i couldnt figure out how it was going to end. it kept my interest throughout the book. madeline baker will now be one of my favorite authors. shaunda mckilli
