This book still works well.

There are over 200 pages. The pictures are glossy in color. With full descriptions and diagrams in the embroidery stitching vernacular. The different types of stitches sort the chapters or pages. If you are casually interested, there is a great introduction that includes history and descriptions of what makes Hardangar embroidery unique. “Hardangar embroidery takes its name from the area surrounding the Hardangar fiord in western Norway.”

A small book packed with excellent information!

This book is a wonderful guide to ribbon embroidery. The written instructions are short, simple and easy to follow. The diagrams are large, in color and there is a wide variety of stitches. This book is small so it can go with you anywhere.
