Book Overview
As someone who grew up in a society where you're molded by pre-existing thoughts and beliefs, which can sometimes harm your unique human existence, this is a journey of breaking free. When you're told you're a burden for being who you are, and you choose not to be defined by society, that's the day you win and are reborn. You're born with the essence of resilience, strength, and empathy. Life is not just about building yourself, but also about finding your authentic self. By going beyond societal constructs, you thrive and start weaving your own path-one that's true to your essence.
This poetry collection is not just a personal journey, but a testament to the collision of human psychology and creativity that gives birth to poetry-an art that connects and heals souls. Writing is a journey of creating consciousness, spaces, and living. The Anatomy of My Soul is a soulful collection of poetry, where the poet weaves together imagination, experiences, consciousness, and creativity. The illustrations have their own perception and story to tell, carrying the soul of the poetry. When the poems meet the art, the story explodes in different dimensions. Pain and suffering are present in the poetry, but there is also a silver lining of acceptance and new life.
The poet fights on two fronts-one with the inner self and one with society-but chooses the middle path, embracing authenticity. A melancholic world is created, yet the poet still wishes to live in it. We write not just to express, but to tell a story that needs to be heard-a story that heals. And poetry becomes the vessel to create it.
With hopeful beginnings, they say:
Poetry is the home,
poetry is my home,
it's the home of my soul.
