THE AMISH COWBOY'S HOMECOMING BY Ophelia London What do two Amish horse trainers have in common? One is Grace Zook, who desperately wants to take over her father's horse training farm and the other is Issac King a young widower with a small daughter Sadie, whom he wants to keep safe and raise right. They find that they have a lot of similar ideas when it comes to training a high-strung, maltreated gelding Cincinnati, nicknamed Sin for short. Sin has champion bloodlines and his owners have suddenly decided they want him to be trained. Issac has been hired by Grace's father, to lead Sin's training. Grace hasn't been informed of the reason for him taking the lead with the training and she is distressed to find out. Issac and Grace must work together to gain Sin's trust so that he can grow into the champion horse that he is meant to be. Somewhere along the way, Issac and Grace develop feelings for one another and have to make decisions regarding those feelings. This book was quite enjoyable, the characters are developed so that you feel like you are friends with them. This is a standalone book.
