The alive rice

I thank my son Henrique for I creating this book, although I wrote it only 30 years later, to whom I always told stories at bedtime.
Nostalgy for the time when I often tried to imagine new plots, although I repeated most of them at him request, even on the same night.
Do not know who had more fun at the time. If he, listening carefully and often ask to change something, or I, for the happyness to telling.
The Alive Rice, as well as the Titinho Bunny (and I still intend to write one day), were part of the list of the most requested stories, but there were many others, fact that even encouraged me to start writing.
Time does not return, however much we wish, but those nostalgic and funny nights will be forever engraved in the memory of this old father.

Synopsis
Nathan was 5-years-old and playng in the room after having a milk pot and eating fruits covered with granola. Later, he would have lunch and brush his teeth to go to the school. The backpack was already waiting ready on the sofa.
While the mother was cleaning the house with the vacuum cleaner, the son heard a fine voice crying for help. He went to the kitchen, but it took him until he realized that the noise came from the pan where the rice was cooking.
To Nathan's surprise, a grain of rice larger than the others, with eyes, mouth, legs and arms, screamed into the boiling water.
Knowing that he should not touch the stove to avoid injury, the boy did not know how to help the alive rice.
