The Alien Ambassador is the second novel in the Crusader series. Ken Aedan, who has washed out of the United Space University, has been asked to complete an abandoned experimental space ship with the help of a ragged crew. They are given the mission of picking up Jia Hamilton, nick-named "Goldeneyes," who is a cross between an alien race and humans. Ken struggles to use her unique talents to prevent a civil war from beginning on the planet of Endiku Prime, while preventing his ship from being impounded by the senator's son Chester Dunmore.
