Jake Carter is, as one might hazard to guess, an average man with average problems, wasting away as a waiter in a small restaurant in obscure suburbia. Often distracted by ruminations of his lost love, Lilly, he cannot seem to overcome the aftermath of their makeshift relationship. He lives in a downtrodden part of the city that is eating away at his peace of mind, hours spent at the bar among strangers.Then, suddenly, he happens to meet a little lady named Chase, a girl curiously grounded in her disenchantment with the upper echelon of society. The more Jake gets involved with her, the more doors seem to open up for him.
