A foiled computer attack on the IRS alerts senior management to their vulnerabilities. Their salvation comes in the form of an ex-military programming genius who promises the ultimate in protection. He designs a sophisticated Artificial Intelligence computer, JAL, to defend against all threats and installs it in a newly renovated building. All that remains is to test JAL's capabilities. An ex-Delta force member with issues from his past and a computer expert with her own skeletons are hired for the task of breaking into the building and hacking the computer. Things start to go significantly off course when the computer misinterprets the simulation and initiates its defenses. The body count starts to pile up and soon it is up to just two people, in a race against time, to stop JAL before it accesses data that will threaten the security of America.
