Eugene Wallis, a highly skilled Special Forces Officer doing his third tour in Iraq gets a Dear John letter from his wife. Thereafter, on a reconnaissance mission the vehicle he is in gets blown up by an IED and he finds himself waking from an induced coma six months later in a hospital.
