Slavery and colonization have not have not ended. Those two concepts have just evolved. We are now slaves of money and power. As an African person money and power are presented in front of us as bait. As something that we have to obtain and yet it is impossible to reach by normal means. We have a continent full of dreamers, hungry ghosts.
Being free means breaking the chains that bind us to a false sense of self. It means to reconnect to our inner being and find our purpose.
