Venus has a stolen treasure map that she can't read, and a sexy robot after her. She asks a Martian psychic for help, and the whole crew leaves with words of warning and cryptic love advice. At least the mystic tells Venus where to find an artifact to help her read the map. On the way to Earth, Venus gets hit with some Time Goop from a quasar. She ends up stuck in a time loop, reliving the same forty-five minutes over and over again. She thinks no one will remember her shenanigans, but Erec got Time Goop on him too. The crew robs a museum in the middle of the day for a crystal skull, but Nathan tries to stop them. Voltaire almost catches Venus, but she gives him the slip and some boundaries. Then they head to Salix for a royal wedding, and when Erec and Venus wind up dateless, they decide to go together. Just to make Eris jealous, and for no other reason. The wedding ends early when Yonec shows up to take over the planet. Azolla finds her parents and discovers her roots behind a waterfall and in a hidden glade. Fern, the Salix knight, comes along, and by the end of the mission, he's got himself a new job as Venus's official security officer. After having dinner with Erec's family on Earth and surviving a spaceship crash, Venus falls asleep in the magic river on Soraya for too long and wakes up twenty-five years younger. Azolla and Boone have to deal with the young Venus as she ages all over again. After a little time off at Venus's new ski chalet, the crew is ready to travel to the mysterious Methuselah. The galaxy's hottest mess is back, and this time she's hunting for treasure.
