Delightful reading

"The Adventures of Slump Thacker" has been and is delightful reading. A collection of tall-tales interwoven with down-home family values, this book makes reading fun. I am at present reading it a chapter at a time as a bedtime story to my six-year-old grandson. He absolutely loves the stories of Slump and particularly the ones with Slump and his dog, Stumpy. He can hardly wait to get into bed on the 2 nights a week that I keep him so that we can read about Slump. I intend to purchase a copy for each of my 5 grandchilren. In a world filled with so much trash reading "the Adventures of Slump Thacker" is a refreshing change!
