Orion has always loved dogs, and so has his mom. When Orion was a little boy, they adopted Penny from a shelter. Penny was mommy's dog, but Orion was determined to make Penny love him just as much.

One day, Orion and his mom decided to get a new dog. They went to the shelter and found a puppy named Harper. Harper was a small, energetic dog, and Orion was immediately smitten.At first, Penny was jealous of Harper. She didn't want to share Orion's attention with another dog. But Orion was patient with Penny, and eventually she came to accept Harper.

But as time went on, Penny started to get old. She wasn't as energetic as she used to be, and she started to have health problems. Orion and his mom knew that Penny's time was coming to an end.

One day, Penny got sick and passed away. Orion and mommy were heartbroken, but he knew that Penny had lived a long and happy life. He would always remember her as his best friend.
