Lefty and Righty

The Adventures of Lefty and Righty: The Windy City is an entertaining children’s book by author Lori Orlinsky. It was fun taking an adventure with Lefty and Righty throughout the city of Chicago. I found myself giggling along the way as they journey in the city to get to the White Sox game on time. They come across other destinations and surprises that I found amusing and delightful. I thought it was a great book to read and learning a little about this windy city and seeing through the eyes of Lefty and Righty. The Adventures of Lefty and Righty: The Windy City is illustrated by the talented artist, Kenn Vidro. Their pictures perfectly follow along with the story giving a wonderful visual of the words on each page. They are bright and vivid that will hold a younger readers attention all throughout the book. I am giving The Adventures of Lefty and Righty: The Windy City a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who are between the ages of four and nine years old. It would be a great addition for a classroom and local children’s library. I am eagerly awaiting another release from Lori Orlinsky to see what other characters she comes with up next. I received a hard cover copy of The Adventures of Lefty and Righty: The Windy City from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
