The Adventures of HIO a water drop

one day I came back from work and I found My little daughter crying over losing in a video game, and I made this story about a water drop winning rocks to get home so she never gives up again; and it worked, I hope it will work for you as wel: Once upon a time, in a distant sea, lived a beautiful magical creature that was completely made of water. His name was HIO.He was very young and bored. He wanted to go on exciting adventures and see the world. So, he didn't like the sea where he lived and felt it was very boring.One day, he was so unhappy with his life, he angrily told the sea,"I don't like it here and I want to leave. You are too salty and in the lowest level on earth."...Sadly, the sea said to HIO, "I don't think you can find happiness somewhere else but I won't stand in your way. If you want to leave, I will show you how to do it.""I will lift you and then, the sun will heat you up and you will become bigger and lighter. After that, the air will lift you."...HIO got hotter and started bubbling, and then, his watery form started changing until he became a large cloud and the air lifted him....HIO became tired of flying and started to feel lonely. Later, he started regretting his decision to leave all his friends....When the sun went to bed, night fell and he began to feel cold in the big lonely sky. There was nothing he could do, so he had to stay there, all alone....The wind saw that his new friend was sad."Hi, HIO, why are you sad?" he asked."I'm very lonely here and I want to go home. I miss my friends."..."Hang on," the wind said.The wind opened its mouth and blew....But HIO didn't believe the swamp because the wind told him that the river was strong, clean and hard-working, and never stopped moving."He's like me," the wind had said....HIO shouted, "I don't care how strong you are. I'll defeat you and get to the river."He started hitting the rocks with all his power, minute after minute, day and night. He continued every day and ignored all the animals that came to drink from the lake and laughed at him....after a few weeks passed, some rocks started to crack....but as time on, he began to get discouraged. He became so weak that his strikes on the rocks became lighter and lighter. But when he remembered home and the good times he shared with his friends, hegathered his last strength and shouted,"I will get to the river You will not stop me "He hit the rocks with great force and because his will was stronger than that of the rocks, he cracked them and found himself in the river.HIO said with a tired voice to the river, "Please, help me get to the sea." and he fainted....When HIO woke up, he found himself inthe sea surrounded by his friends.He apologized to the sea and his friends for leaving and said, "I will never leave here again. There's no place like home."They all agreed with him.The End.
