Our Family's very favorite series

We discovered Geraldine when my almost 11 year old daughter was only 4. We fell in love with Geraldine immediately and she is still a best friend. The first chapter of the book is slow and I was concerned at first that the whole book would drag but fortunately we kept reading. After the first chapter the book hits its stride and readers who like animals and adventures won't be able to resist Geraldine & her friends. As a parent, I love, love, love these books because I never have to worry about content or message (we have read the whole series to the point of memorization). The vocabulary is outstanding and has taught my daughter countless words. The moral lessons are completely in keeping with Christian worldview. I am proud that Geraldine has been one of my daughter's strongest role models.
