The Island of the Crocus, named for the Beautiful Flowers that produce a valuable export, Saffron. It is the Home of the Allen Family. The oldest Brother, Dan, is a Veterinarian. The youngest Brother, Larry, cares for the Orchards. Anthony Allen is a Farmer. He lives with his wife, and two children, Garfield and Kathryn.
Since the Ancients, a child becomes an apprentice, then continues in the trade of an Elder. This ensures the Island stays Self-sufficient. John Allen is the Goodwill Ambassador. His responsibility is the relationship between the Island and other Cultures and Countries. He travels quite frequently. John is also, the owner of the Red Barn, and what's inside.
The traveling goes farther than the destination as Garfield and Kathryn meet new friends and create tales to Treasure.
