Garry Owen Venables was raised in Garden City, New York where he attended Garden City High School. He later attended Kent State University and the University of Tennessee Martin, on football scholarships, where he majored in mediocrity. He spent the majority of his adult life as a carpenter/builder. The author has also penned, Truly Unreadable Poetry and his second novel, Thomas which will be published in spring 2010.
