I devoured any Enid Blyton book I could get my hands on as a child, and still greatly enjoy reading them today. Binkle and Flip is the tale of two bunnies: one is extremely mischievous, and the other mostly gets in trouble because he goes along. They get into all sorts of trouble in their town full of rather gullible animal folk in adventures such as tricking everyone into paying to see their "magic" painting (that only clever people can really see), getting everyone to bring them jellies and goodies by pretending to be sick--but getting their comeupance when the doctor stumbles onto their plot and orders them the worst medicine possible, pretending to be chimney sweeps and accidentally getting the houses into a terrible mess, and much more. They make many enemies and some friends, but since they really do have good hearts (of course!) they manage to redeem themselves in the end. Delightful, easy reading for children of all ages.
