Billy Brazil is a slightly eccentric, but likeable man living with his 86 year old mother in a small desert town east of Reno, Nevada. He does odd jobs, including dressing up like a chicken to pass out coupons, to make a few dollars. His best friend is a man nicknamed "VeeBee" who paints houses for a living, but is also known in higher circles as "The Vagabond", an exquisite abstract artist. When VeeBee dies suddenly and leaves Billy a fortune in fine art, it seems everyone wants a piece of the pie. But, where are the paintings? The humorous story takes Billy on an adventure he won't soon forget as he has to deal with an array of characters seeking his inheritance.
