"The Adventures of Bean and Le" book series is an ode to my children. It's a love letter to all of the children who dance to the beat of their own drum. This book series was written for all the kids who have autism. For those who see the world differently. I wrote this book for the parents who are struggling to accept the diagnoses. I am the mother of a child with autism. I wanted to create series where my daughter and children like her could see themselves, and be proud of the way God made them. When I look at my daughter, I see everything that is good about the world in her. Finally, I wrote this book to tell my son "thank you". Thank you for never allowing your sister's autism to define her, for being an amazing big brother, and her best friend. I believe that every child must be represented, and their stories must be told.
