The Adventures of Augustus

Told in his own words, this is the tale of the trials and tribulations a dog faced after he was stolen from his precious little girl by a villainous scoundrel and how he survived. Taken from his home at an early age, Augustus' first challenge was to escape from the rogue that stole him. Once free, he needed to learn to survive on the streets as he struggled to find his way home. Fortunately, soon after escaping he met a cunning cat that led him to a pack of dogs where he befriended an English bulldog and a Mexican Chihuahua. Though his new friends helped him avoid animal control and the fierce coyotes that prowled the night, he was eventually captured by animal control and given to a cruel master. When he escaped this man, he found himself lost and alone in a big frightening city. During this time he met various people of whom some helped him and some tried to capture him. Finally, after twice being captured by animal control and almost losing his life to the coyotes, his story ends on a happy note.
