The Adventures of Abby was written because of a little girl Sarah Preston met while working in a daycare center in Gainesville, Florida. The darling little girl whom Sarah met and the little girl in the book are similar. The reason for this is that the author wanted to write a fictional book based on someone whom she loved and Sarah loved the little girl she met at preschool. It was the little girl at preschool who inspired The Adventures of Abby and it is the authors hope that readers will enjoy the book.
