Elden is an interesting one, he was taken from his parents as a baby. Raised in captivity, beaten and abused regularly to break his spirit. A magical block was placed on his mind so should he ever remember his parents he instantly suffers all of the pain he suffered growing up.
Finally, he finds a home, people who apparently care about him, when suddenly they are snatched from him and he sets out to bring his wife's killers to justice. The chains he wears as a reminder of his past, rattle as if with a mind of their own. What would people think if they found out they truly are a part of him, what if they learned the chains control the beast raging within?
The shadow king, why do they call him that? Why did her father give her to him as tribute and why does she wish to be devoured by him so badly? So many questions to be asked of this twisted pixie that has joined him, the same questions he keeps asking of everyone who offers themselves to him.
Why does the fairy believe he needs to meet with the Lycans so badly? Why did she risk getting bit while tending his wounds?
Will he find the justice he seeks, or will he find something else entirely?
Also, why does that damn wolf Lycan keep visiting him?
