The engrossing story of painter Jack Winston who is transported from 21st century San Francisco to a small gallery in Oregeon, in 1928, to meet the man of his dreams. Historically convincing flashy cars, speak-easies, and flappers, populate the pages along with a breathless love-affair, which carry the reader along with hardly any resistance. The difficulty comes with the resolution of the mystery: central to the story is a Himalayan relic and monks who are trying to retrieve it, and in order to tie the story together, the time/space continuum is turned upside down with hardly a thought for consequences or logic. It reads like a rollercoaster-ride: it's fun, exciting, you can't get off until the end, and when it's over you're just a little sick ... which might not stop you from doing it all over again.
Captivating fantasy with a gay twist!

A captivating fantasy of time travel, with a gay romance as a new twist. A cross between LOST HORIZON and SOMEWHERE IN TIME. Very readable prose, likable characters and a clever plot. A good read!
