for everyone looking for solutions to the church's ills

Volumes upon volumes have been written about the state of the church, and many solutions have been offered, but this book is different because it gets to the true roots of what is wrong with Christianity today and it emphasizes the solutions that will truly work. This book has pointed me to the truth of the Word of God more surely and deeply than anything else I've read outside of the Bible, and I read A LOT! God has changed me as I have received these truths about the absolutes in His Word and allowed Him to have His way in my life. I recognize the anointing of God on this work. After reading this book, I am more and more secure in who I am in Christ, walking in my true identity as a new creature in Him. I have a deeper understanding of what God means when He says that we are His workmanship. I also have a deeper understanding of the necessity of obeying God and surrendering to Him fully. The bottom line is that God is giving His people answers here, answers that the church desperately needs. The fruit is undeniable: I know God better and love Him more! The back cover says it well: Our everyday lives find structure in the thousands of things we accept as truths, from the numbers we use to the names of colors and textures. There are absolutes in the Bible, and they are constants in the spiritual realm, just as "2+2" is a constant in the physical realm. "Absolutes of God" is about the Word of God and its building blocks of truth -- "the first principles of the oracles of God" (Heb. 5:12) -- which have been forgotten or misplaced. The seven absolutes discussed in this book are answers to common questions that the author encounters when teaching Bible revelation seminars in Africa, America and Central America. The emphasis is that the church must allow the Holy Spirit to return as the Teacher of truth that God ordained. In our society, we have insisted that diversity is good. In reality, what we have are divisions created by ignorance of God's definition of truth. The one Authority who can settle all arguments in the controversies that divide us is the Holy Spirit, and we have ignored Him! God's desire is that the words He spoke become alive in His people so that He is seen in His church. God wants to be visible, not only to His church, but also to the whole world. He wants to see truth believed in and lived out in front of the entire world.
A must read for truth-seekers!

Everyone who is seeking a book on Christianity that is anointed of God, based on the truth of His Word and not watered down by the doctrines of men must read this book! Pastor Ricley establishes that Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to be our teacher, and if we would allow Him to teach, there would be no division in the Church of Christ. The Bible, a deep relationship with Christ fostered in prayer and the Holy Spirit are the provisions of God to ensure that we will understand His love letter to us - the written word of God. The author writes of 7 foundational truths in the Word that every Christian must know and must be rooted in during this hour in the Church. 1. God's will for man is that he be perfect in Christ Jesus. God created Adam as a perfect man. Until he became the judge of what was good and what was evil, Adam walked with God as a perfect son. Jesus succeeded in walking perfectly in the flesh to show God's ability to do such a miraculous thing in man. 2. The knowledge of good and evil does not produce godly believers or healthy Christians. Adam could not eat of both the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 3. The natural man does not receive the things of God. Jesus told Nicodemus that unless you are born again of the Spirit you cannot see the Kingdom of God. 4. Every believer must know the voice of Jesus. Jesus said that His sheep will know His voice, and the voice of a stranger they will not follow. 5. The Holy Ghost is the teacher sent from God to indwell every believer. Jesus calls the Holy Ghost the Spirit of Truth. Sent to indwell us, only He can teach every Christian the truths of the Word of God. 6. Once we repent of our sins, we become His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus. Trusting that Jesus is truly working in us and for us every day, and that we are not our own workmanship, restores our peace with God and returns joy. Our faith grows, and faith can move things out of our lives that nothing else can. 7. The Bible was written both historically and spiritually. The spiritual aspect of the Bible was sealed. The Bible contains truths that we cannot understand unless a revelation of God opens them up. Peter knew that Jesus was the Christ and the Son of God by divine revelation. God must open the Bible to us in the same way. I encourage you to buy this book and read it prayerfully with your Bible open. I believe that all who ask God to open up the Word to them so they can understand and absorb the truth written here will be truly blessed.
