The ABC's of Christmas Activity Book is designed for learning and fun for a single child or a classroom of early learners. Based on the reason behind Christmas, each sequential letter of the alphabet highlights one aspect of the Christmas story: A is for angels, B for Bethlehem, M for Manger, and on it goes, offering children simple activities on each page. Sometimes it's a space to recreate an image; sometimes the child is circle objects, identify triangles, count stars, and other early childhood learning exercises. There are questions, too, like, "What colors are camels" and "Why do you think they can travel in a desert?" Children's teachers, daycare supervisors, outreach ministry leaders may wish to use the storyline for teaching the alphabet or even incorporating the children's completed pages into a program for parents and other adults. Of course, it is hoped parents enjoy helping their child with the pages and turning those moments into a treasured memory. Much of Margery Kisby Warder's adult life found her interacting with children, even before she devoted time to raising her own. She was born into a family of storytellers. Her father thought if you weren't having fun you weren't doing the project right and her mother taught children for years, so Margery never wanted to hear a child was bored. Informally, she created individualized and group curriculum to enhance learning skills while bringing smiles to those she taught. She writes for adults, too, but she'll always have a heart for little ones, including her own grandchildren.
