The American dream is still alive and kicking depending on what your version of the American dream is. Experts say 1 percent of our population controls 99 percent of all the wealth, if that's true we have a real problem in our society. If your idea of rich is $1 million or $1 billion, you need to first establish what it is and how you're going to get there. The next time somebody tells you money won't buy you happiness, tell them to give you all of their money so it doesn't interfere with their happiness. Contrary to popular belief money will not automatically solve your problems. In many cases, it will only enhance your faults. Many people have come into windfalls of money only to lose it just as quickly. The worst thing you can do is become rich with a poor mentality. This book isn't going to teach you how to make money, it's going to show you how to control it. Without control you have nothing. Make the money, don't let the money make you. This is a common-sense guide on achieving the life you always wanted while enjoying the life you currently have. For me, being rich wasn't about how many digits were in my bank account. Although being financially secure is great, I valued my privacy just as much. My goal was to obtain both.
