Let me start this by pointing out that I found Cindy through her Medusa series, and I loved that. I highly recommend the various Medusa titles to anyone interested, though I will say the earlier ones were better because they were allowed a longer page count. My reactions to this book being the first non-Medusa title that I've read will be filtered through that experience, so take it for what it's worth. The story fits the mini-series premise, Love in 60 Seconds. There are also ongoing story pieces for the whole series, yet the book stands alone. So there would be no problem in picking up this title and reading it by itself. With a page length of near 200 pages, it's also a quick and a light read. If you want some mind-candy for a few hours, you'd get it with this. It certainly wasn't a bad book, but I just couldn't find the excitement and interest that was in the author's Medusa books. I am still not sure if the fault is mine as a reader because I know I like those other books so much, or if the author was somehow less interested in this than her other stories. Again, it's not a bad book, but it doesn't have that extra Wow-factor that her other titles seem to have. This is probably a 3.5-4 for me.
