You are not on your first life.
The soul you carry has done this before more than once, sometimes many times and the number of times matters. It's why two people raised in near-identical circumstances can turn out so completely differently. Why some people exhaust you within minutes and others restore you without even trying. Why the same patient explanation lands as revelation for one person and simply bounces off another.
The 9 Life Theory argues that difference isn't random, and it isn't only personality. It's development - carried forward across more than one lifetime.
Drawing on decades spent building an international business, managing complex projects, and watching the same human patterns repeat in boardrooms, families, and friendships around the world, engineer and entrepreneur Steve Whettingsteel lays out a framework of nine life cycles: four spent primarily taking, a neutral fifth stage sitting exactly at the midpoint, and four spent giving each one carrying forward what was learned in the stage before it.
This is not a claim about worth. It's a claim about where a soul currently sits on a very long road a road every soul, including the ones now sitting further along than you, once walked from the very beginning.
Practical, honestly argued, and refreshingly free of spiritual jargon, The 9 Life Theory gives you the tools to finally understand the people who exhaust you, the people who don't, and the shape of your own journey so far.
Steve Whettingsteel is an English engineer, entrepreneur and lifelong supporter of people, ideas and cultures. His career has taken him from installing and managing environmental projects aboard cruise ships to building an international environmental technology business. Along the way, he has developed a wealth of practical knowledge and experience, much of which he has shared through lecturing and presenting at conferences, governments and universities around the world.
A particular passion of Steve's is helping people discover and develop their potential, supporting workshops and initiatives for people who have experienced prejudice or barriers, creating spaces where different perspectives can be heard and new possibilities explored. Decades of global travel have given him the opportunity to experience cultures and ways of thinking very different from his own. These encounters, together with a lifetime of questioning, observing and learning, have shaped the ideas behind The 9 Life Theory.
The 9 Life Theory is Book One of a planned trilogy, followed by 9 Lives in Love and 9 Lives at Work.
