Great book. As you laugh hysterically you are truly humbled by the sad truth of it all.

It's Funny Because It's True

This little book packs a punch. The author helps you to know what to do to be an effective Christian by pretending to tell you how to be a bad Christian. It is not surprising that Adrian Plass wrote the foreword, because it is very much in the style of his writing.Here are some snippets which I enjoyed:On the page where you would usually find acknowledgments or a dedication, you will read instead"An ineffective Christian never remembers to thank anyone under any circumstances. Might as well learn that before you begin this book."Habit 1: Dichotomize Your Life. Truly ineffective Christians apportion their lives into secular and sacred components.Habit 2: Make tolerance your god. Accept anything and everything. Fabry knows exactly how to present the problems with today's "lukewarm christians" and then how to advise you on how not to be one.
