A great look at before and after the Roaring Twenties
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 18 years ago
The author writes an excellent book on the popular arts. The book is both delightful to read, and a good reference, even though only an index of principal names is provided. He died in 1970, and renewed the copyright in 1952. Therefore, he was able to see the happenings on Broadway. The book is a collection of essays, with no particular thread from one to the next. So the book can be read as desired. His writing was straightforward, humorous, and informative.
