An Exhilarating Ride into the 1960's and Brilliant Description of America's transformation into the

I was first introduced to this author my junior year in college, when I accidentally pulled his previous book, "Positively Main Street-An Unorthodox View of Bob Dylan" off a dusty library shelf. Being an avid Bob Dylan fan I decided to include his book in my checkout list. When I got home I could not put the book down and finished it in one reading. I was enchanted by Thompson's descriptive and vivid voice. I just finished "The `60s Report" and the same result has occurred. I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! The pages are packed with the same descriptive voice allowing the reader to develop a vivid understanding of the 1960's and a clear sense of what was happening at that time. This is an excellent read. I only wish Toby Thompson would publish another one.
