This 5-minute superpower journal is designed to help kids uncover their strengths (hidden superpowers) and challenges, reflect on their emotions and identify triggers in a fun and meaningful way.
Self-awareness is the cornerstone of emotional intelligence and leads to improved self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills.
How it works
Step 1: Kids answer a question that is designed to help them develop an understanding of their strengths/weaknesses and learn more about themselves.
Step 2: They then circle an emotion that they have felt that day.
Step 3: Finally they write about what made them feel the emotion they circled. The purpose of this is to develop the capacity for self-reflection when the heat of the moment has passed.
