In the early1800s; three countries in particular found themselves in serious dire situations for humans; both politically and economically. Those countries play an important part in our story; in particular; Africa, France and Ireland.

The story traces the lives of three innocent individuals who come to be known as "Kwame", "Bonnie" and "Antoine". Each have their own idiosyncratic ways and problems, who are born and are from those countries..

While children; and as they grow into adulthood; they encounter terrible situations and evil people who abuse and take advantage of them, including their own families.

Finally, they meet one another thru sheer happenstance, survive their own misery, but absorb the hardships, and are affected by intervention of an outside being, and go on to another dimension.
