There is a theory floating around in the LDS church, one that I believe myself wholeheartedly, that (we believe in aliens by the way, the angels in the bible are all just ancient, VERY ancient aliens, {and y'know how they say "and he was taken up to heaven in a column of light?" Doesn't that remind you of "Beam me up, Scotty "?}) long, long ago, when Nephilim walked the Earth, the gods depicted in various mythologies around the world, such as Hindu tradition, Buddhist tradition, Greek, Egyptian, Norse, Celtic, Native American, Mesoamerican, all the various traditions and mythologies around the world, even the angels of old in Genesis, were the result of aliens, or angels, crash landing or making base camp in various human civilizations around the world and simply living day-to-day lives or assisting with various undertakings mankind were undertaking. Like the Pyramids? Very hard for me to believe we built those all on our own without help from a more advanced people. The stories in the Bhagavad Gita and Greek Mythology? I cannot help but believe that those stories originated from angels (or gods I suppose to our ancestors at the time) making contact and interacting with our forefathers and our mothers of old.
