The 13th Annual Creatures, Crimes & Creativity (C3) Anthology

The Creatures, Crimes & Creativity (C3) Con began in 2012. The concept was simple: create a long weekend gathering of readers AND writers of mystery, suspense, thriller, horror, sci-fi, fantasy and paranormal fiction. Over the years we have been blessed to have some of the best-known genre fiction authors as keynote speakers - always one representing crime fiction and another from the speculative fiction arena.The C3 Con is in Columbia, MD every September. The registration fee includes five meals, so readers and writers can dine side-by-side. Published authors spend time with their fans and expose new readers to their writing by presenting on panels. Their books are available in our on-site bookstore and there are dedicated book signing times. Readers and fans enjoy two book signings and Noir at the Bar author readings. From the beginning we have produced an annual anthology, filled with stories submitted by attendees. For the first dozen Cons the anthology was exclusively given to attendees. But this year, for the first time, the anthology will be publicly available. In honor of this being the 13th C3 Con, luck is the chosen theme. Good or bad fortune figures prominently in each of these stories, and like the Con itself, this book offers a variety of genres: crime fiction to include mysteries and thrillers, fantasy and horror stories.
