From sliding down leaves to riding on a dragonfly, Wheldon's little bees illustrated by Diana Zourelias-Noro, beg tiny readers to trace their antics and remember each number from one to ten. The 1, 2,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
My daughter loves this book and asks me to read it to her every night before we go to bed. I buy TONS of children's books and frankly most are a weak effort. This book is incredibly illustrated and very well written and I will buy further books from this author.

The 1,2,3 Bees is a marvelous counting book that is vividly illustrated with friendly critters who eat and fly about the pages. The numbers one through ten come to life right off the flowerbeds on which the smiling bees reside. The natural reaction is to want to read the book over and over again. By doing so, a child should learn how to count in no time. Nicole Wheldon has created a delightful book that I find my daughter toting around the house on her own. Robert W. The 1,2,3 Bees is a fun book to read due to rhyme and adorable illustrations. My three small grandsons like to read the book over and over. They enjoy counting the bees with me and talking about the silly things that the bees are doing in the many different and entertaining illustrations. Contrary to other books we have read, this book is clean looking, colorful, and easy plus fun to read.

My daughter was given this book as a gift. She sat down and read it three times in a row. Then, she went through each page choosing her favorite bee. And she asked me to choose mine, too. It is the loveliest book I have seen. The story is pure, the characters are so vivid and friendly. "The 1,2,3 Bees" is fun to read, artistic and educational. I wish there were more books like this one for all ages. I'm an adult and I enjoy reading it with my daughter. It's really beautiful.
Great gift for parents of small children

When I got my copy I was delighted with the quality of the book - the artwork is bright and very cheerful. The cover is very attractive and will interest anyone, especially the kids it's intended for. It's a great read-aloud-with-your-child book, and the text is in fun rhymes and is yet kept simple enough for, I'd say, ages 2 to 4. One of the things that struck me was how well balanced the book is between text and graphics - this will keep any child interested throughout the fun story - and the pre-reading child will easily be able to follow along as you read it to them from the graphics alone, and taking their first steps at learning to count as a fun experience. Highly recommended.
